Privacy Policy

This notice explains what personal data Retros Football collects, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data controller for that information. Contact us at support@retrosfootball.com about anything on this page.

What we collect

  • Order information — your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and what you ordered, including any name, number or patch you asked us to add.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits of the card. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your email address and a hashed password.
  • Newsletter — your email address, only if you sign up.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser and pages viewed, used to keep the site working and secure.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To fulfil your order — performance of the contract between us.
  • To answer your messages and handle returns — performance of the contract, and our legitimate interest in supporting customers.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure — our legitimate interest, and our legal obligations.
  • To keep accounting records — our legal obligation under UK tax law.
  • To send marketing email — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

Only those who need it to do their job: our payment provider, the carrier delivering your parcel, our hosting provider, and our email provider. We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers operate outside the UK; where that happens, transfers rely on the UK’s adequacy regulations or on standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting records are kept for six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as UK law requires. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Site logs are kept for up to 12 months.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent for marketing. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

How we use cookies, and how to turn the optional ones off, is covered in our cookie policy.
