Accessibility

We want anyone to be able to buy a shirt here, whatever they use to browse. This page says where we stand and how to tell us when we fall short.

What we aim for

We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible.
  • Product photographs carry alternative text describing the shirt.
  • Text meets contrast requirements against its background, and can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.
  • Forms have real labels, and errors say what went wrong and how to fix it.
  • Headings follow a logical order so a screen reader can move through a page by structure.
  • Tap targets are large enough to hit on a phone.

Where we know we fall short

Some product descriptions were inherited from an earlier catalogue and vary in quality. We are rewriting them. Third-party payment windows are outside our control, though our provider maintains its own accessibility statement.

Telling us about a problem

If something on this site is hard or impossible to use, email support@retrosfootball.com with the page and what happened. We will reply within one working day and will tell you honestly whether and when we can fix it. If you need help completing an order, we can take the details by email and place it for you.
